Membership
Membership of the Society is open to all who are interested in learning more about archaeology and the past, whether or not they wish to take part in excavations. All members can attend all normal Society functions free of charge. Visitors are charged £3.00 entrance to normal Society lectures. Occasionally, ‘big name’ lectures are held at which members must also pay an entrance fee. Anyone who wishes to take part in our excavations must be a member of the Society for insurance reasons. To become a member, it is necessary to complete an application form and pay the current annual subscription. Please see our Rules Current subscription rates (for 2023/24) are: Students: £ 10.50 Adults: £18.00 Online payments - Download the membership form above and complete. If you wish to pay via paypal then this is higher to cover paypal and postage costs
